As part of its mission, the Buffalo and Erie County Public Library (B&ECPL) works to promote lifelong learning by encouraging all children and adults in their enjoyment of reading and discovery.

The B&ECPL encourages teachers and their students to visit the nearest branch to take advantage of our many services!  Through the support of educational institutions, public libraries, family members and community organizations, the children of Western New York will receive the most rewarding and well-rounded education possible.
