    Public Access Computers:  17 Public Access computers (two with scanners), 5 Children's Computers, networked (Color prints are 25 cents. B&W prints are 10 cents including Mobile Printing) Microsoft Office Applications, and Internet Access.

    A new laptop that can be used to access Skype!  Visit with out of town family and friends!  Conduct interviews over Skype.  See staff for details.

      Take Your Child to the Library Day : Pete the Cat Theme

      Saturday, February 1st - 10:00AM-6:00PM
      No registration needed, just stop by and take a craft, do the scavenger hunt, and get Pete the Cat prizes/giveaways!

      Pete the Cat Story Time

      Wednesday, February 5th - 6:00 PM - 6:30 PM
      Story Time includes stories, activities, and a craft. It is ideal for children ages 3 to 8 years old with their adults, but all ages are welcome.
      Registration is requested for preparation of craft materials, but walk-ins are welcome.

      Take and Make Crafts

      New Take and Make crafts drop every Monday at Isaías González-Soto Branch Library.
      Find them by the holds shelf and self-checkout throughout the week until supplies run out.
      No registration needed, just stop by and take a craft!

      LEGO Club every Wednesday from 5:30pm-7:00pm

      Children 1.5 years old and older make their very own LEGO build and display it in the library until the following week. We have Duplo Blocks suitable for ages 1.5-3 years and LEGO Bricks suitable for ages 4 and up. Adult supervision is required.

      Story Time with Miss Christine - Thursdays at 10:30am

      Story Time will take place every Thursday from 10:30am-11:00am beginning January 23rd.

      Scavenger Hunt

      There is an ongoing scavenger hunt for children and tweens in the children's area.
      Stop by any time during open hours to start hunting! January's theme is Arctic Animals. Next up in February: Pete the Cat!

      Book Sale

      There is an ongoing book sale in the lower level of the library. $0.25 per item, or $1.00 per bag of items.

      The Buffalo & Erie County Public Library System Board of Trustees is the governing body for the downtown Central Library, and the eight branch libraries located in the city of Buffalo. These include: Crane, Dudley, East Clinton,  Frank E. Merriweather, Jr., North Park, Elaine M. Panty Branch Library, Isaías González-Soto Branch Library, and the Leroy R. Coles, Jr. Branch Library.
