    Kids hunt for the hidden images in the children's area. When you find them all, turn in your scavenger hunt guide at the desk for a small prize! Drop-in during open hours anytime to do the scavenger hunt. New hunt each month.

    LEGO contest is every even-numbered month (February, April, June, August, October, December). Kids & Teens drop-in anytime during open hours that month to create a build using library LEGO or DUPLO blocks. After naming and displaying your creation in our display case, fill out a raffle ticket to win a LEGO Creator set! The contest is open to ages 1.5-17 years old. (Prizes are rated for 6-7+)

    Guess How Many Contest runs every even-numbered month (January, March, May, July, September, November).
    How many objects are in the jar? Adults and kids drop-in anytime during open hours throughout the month to guess. Only one guess per person, though! The kid and the adult who guess the closest to the actual number of objects each win a prize. Winners are contacted on the first business day of the following month.

    Dungeons & Dragons: Underwood
    Players are needed - Be a Hero!
    Saturdays 1pm-5pm (***Cancelled until July 11th!!!***)
    Lower Level - Small Meeting Room

    Dungeons & Dragons: Underwood is a homebrew fantasy role playing game set in the late-medieval/early renaissance period, circa AD 1565.

    • Ages 8+, adults without children are welcome
    • Easy to play, no experience needed
    • No commitment necessary, your character will remain playable even if you do not come each week or only come a couple times
    • Can take up to 7 players per session, first come, first served

    The Buffalo & Erie County Public Library System Board of Trustees is the governing body for the downtown Central Library, and the eight branch libraries located in the city of Buffalo. These include: Crane, Dudley, East Clinton,  Frank E. Merriweather, Jr., North Park, Elaine M. Panty Branch Library, Isaías González-Soto Branch Library, and the Leroy R. Coles, Jr. Branch Library.
