    Public Access Computers: 9 computers, 5 laptops, networked (printing and mobile printing 10 cents per page B&W, 25 cents Color) Microsoft Office Applications, Internet Access, Misc. "What can I do at a Public Access Computer?"

    Copy Machine: B&W 15 cents per page, Color 25 cents.

    What's Special about the Angola Public Library?

    Located just 2 miles from the shores of Lake Erie the library welcomes a large influx of summer residents.  It is the perfect place to come to check out a wide variety of books, magazines, DVD's, Blu-Rays, Audiobooks and CD's or use the computers.

    We have the Angola Record, a local newspaper, from 1879-1937 on an external hard drive.

    Lake Shore Central Year Books are available for in library use.

      SUMMER CRAFT WEEK IS BACK!

      Each week we will have a new craft or activity available for drop in. No registration necessary!

      July 8th-13th Shrinky Dinks—color a masterpiece, and watch it magically shrink inside of our oven! Shrinky dinks can be turned into keychains, magnets, and more!

      July 15th-20th Rock Painting—Let’s make something beautiful! We will have rocks and paint available, and you can paint to your heart’s content! Rocks can be taken home, or left here in our flowerbeds.

      July 22nd-27th Granola Bars—Everyone should know some basic snack making skills! Learn how to make a fun, easy snack here at the library.  **Please call ahead if your child has any food allergies**

      July 29th-August 3rd Fluffy Slime—Slime making is an art that all ages can enjoy. Making fluffy slime is even more fun!

      August 5th-10th Water Bead Stress Balls—Water beads are so much fun!     Join us to make Stress Balls with water beads, and enjoy squishing, squeezing, and tossing your new ball.

      August 12th-17th Rice Krispie Treats—More basic snack skills! Rice Krispie treats are one of the easiest, tastiest snacks to make!  **Please call ahead if your child has any food allergies**

      August 19th-24th DIY Button Making—Wear your button loud and proud!     Use one of our coloring templates, or design something all your own, and turn it into a button!

      August 26th-31st Play Dough—Play Dough is fun, but making DIY Play Dough is even better! It’s so soft, and you can make it any color that you want! 


      Wildnerness Skills for All Ages

      Thursday, July 25th 5:00pm

      Join us for this fun presentation by the Niagara Parks, where we will learn basic wilderness skills such as Leave No Trace, identifying local flora, and how to make responsible decisions while camping, hiking, or enjoying the great outdoors. *Registration is Required*

      Call today for a 45 minute one-on-one program to learn a variety of technological subjects.

      Topics include: Computer basics, set up an email account, email attachments, internet searching, organizing computer files and folders, using a flash drive, Facebook, Skype, or Twitter account, Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, or Publisher, iPad or Kindle basics, android basics, borrowing library ebooks, using Windows 10, and more.

      Come learn about exotic and endangered reptiles, presented by Prehistoric World. There will be a variety of animals to see and learn about! This event is for all ages. *Registration is Required*

      A variety of living creatures from around our planet will show us how well adapted they are to their natural environments and in turn reveal a connection we have to all living things! From an African Lungfish to a snake with legs to the creatures that run the world and the history behind the word “Tarantula” we’ll journey to the ends of the earth to find our own true place there

      Sensory Playtime

      We have FOUR bins with various sensory items in them! You can play, touch, squeeze, and squish!

       

      Bins are available at the desk during any open hours.

       



      Lego Build Week

      Starting the first Monday of every month drop in any time the library is open and build. All creations will be displayed in the library for the remainder of the month.

      GED Prep Class

      Need to get your GED? Erie2 BOCES is providing free classes here at the library.

      Classes are held every Tuesday and Thursday from 1pm-4pm.
