Orchard Park Library Fall Storytimes
Registration begins Monday December 16th You can sign up in person or by phone. Registration will guarantee a spot for each class for the 6 week session. Storytime session will run from January 6th through February 10th.
Baby Storytime takes place each Monday from January 6th through February 10th at 10am. Join Miss Kasey for a gentle introduction to storytime with books, songs and activities for babies 24 months & under. Registration begins on Monday October 21st. Please call 716-662-9851 or stop in to sign up!
Toddler Storytime takes place each Monday from January 6th through February 10th at 11am. Join Miss Kasey for and introduction to storytime with books, music & movement for toddlers aged 2! Registration is required, please call 716-662-9851 or stop in to sign up.
Preschool Storytime takes place Tuesday mornings at 10am from January 7th through February 11th at 10am. This program is for kids ages 5 & under. Join Miss Mary for a storytime with songs, activites and books! This program is tailored for children ages 3-5, however any child under the age of 5 is welcome to try it out and of course siblings of any age are always welcome. Independent Preschool Storytimes will take place each Thursday from January 9th to February 13th at 10am. Independent Preschool Storytime takes place on Thursdays at 10am. Join Miss Mary for an exploration of STEM concepts through stories, songs and hands on activities! This program is tailored for children ages 3-5. Children attend independently while caregivers enjoy the library. Registration begins on Monday October 21st, please stop in or call 716-662-9851 to sign up.
Orchard Park Library Evening Family Storytime
Storytimes take place at 6:30PM on Thursdays January 9th, February 6th, March 6th, April 3rd, May 1st & June 5th, 2025.
Join us for stories, songs, and activities for families with children ages 8 & under. Older siblings are always welcome. Children can feel free to wear jammies and bring a stuffed animal for extra coziness. Call 716-662-9851 or stop in to sign up.
Comic Book Club at the Orchard Park Library
Kids can bring any kind of book they are currently reading. We'll talk about the best NEW graphic novels that the library has to offer, we'll play games, do crafts and draw comics of our own. A perfect space for comic lovers to come and hang out. Sign up in person, by phone 716-662-9851 or online.

Start or continue your Pokemon journey! Share, trade & battle with Pokemon cards! Learn how to play and build decks under the Unlimited Format. The library provides pre-built decks to play with at the program but attendees may also bring their own cards and decks from home. Open to kids in grades K - 8. Kids in grades 2 & under must be accompanied by a caregiver. You may register for one or both Pokemon Club meetups!

As the Alaskan Iditarod race draws near, stop in and visit with real Siberian Huskies! Find out what goes in to pulling a dog sled and what trail racing is like! This meet & greet program is an all ages event, no registration is required. This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Orchard Park Library. WINTER SEED SOWING WORKSHOP

Join us for a hands-on workshop where you'll learn the simple and effective method of winter seed sowing! Bring your own recycled plastic container (such as a milk jug or salad container), along with seeds of your choice. The Orchard Park Gardening Club's Seedlings will provide the soil and guide you through the process of preparing, planting, and labeling your mini-greenhouse.

Health Insurance Information & Counseling Assistance Program (HIICAP) Erie County Senior Services hosts a presentation on services offered to help you save money on healthcare. Services discussed at the presentation will include; One-on-one counseling by appointment, Assistance with different Medicare plans, Long term care insurance, Prescription drug coverage assistance, Resources for the uninsured, Assistance with appeals, Referrals to agencies and more, registration is recommended.
