Read to a Dog
Saturdays in the Summer
August 9th | August 16th
Drop in anytime 11am-12pm
Join us for a special reading time with a certified SPCA Paws for Love dog! Improve literacy skills and reading confidence! Whether you'd like to read a story to a furry friend of just spend some time hanging out, everyone is welcome. Registration is not required, all ages are invited!

INTERGENERATIONAL BOOK CLUB SERIES
Thursday, August 14th 6:00-7:30 PM
AGES 13 AND UP!
The Orchard Park Teen & Adult Book Clubs have joined forces to host an Intergenerational Book Club series and will go head-to-head in a book trivia competition. We invite you to join us as we read and discuss "Insignificant Events in the Life of a Cactus" by Dusti Bowling.

Baby Storytime
Monday mornings from July 7th to August 11th at 10am. Join Miss Kasey for a gentle introduction to storytime with books, songs, and activities for babies 24 months & under. Registration is required, please call 716-662-9851 or stop in to sign up.
Toddler Storytime
Monday mornings from July 7th to August 11th at 11am. Join Miss Kasey for an introduction to storytime with books, music & movement for toddlers aged 2! Registration is required, please call 716-662-9851 or stop in to sign up.
Preschool Storytime
Tuesday mornings at 10am from July 8th through August 12th. Join Miss Mary for a storytime with songs, activities and books! This program is tailored for children ages 3-5, however any child under the age of 5 is welcome to try it out and of course siblings of any age are always welcome.
Independent Preschool Storytime
Thursday mornings at 10am from July 10th through August 14th. Join Miss Mary for an exploration of STEM concepts through stories, songs and hands on activities! This program is tailored for children ages 3-5. Children attend independently while caregivers enjoy the library.
FAMILY CRAFT NIGHT
Tuesday, August 12th from 6:00-7:00 PM
Join us for an hour of family crafting to make a Carousel Horse craft! This program is intended for children ages 6-12 years old to attend with a caregiver or family member.

Orchard Park Public Library Presents: Family Movie Night at the Train Depot
Thursday August 14th | Movie begins at 8:30PM
This movie will be shone rain or shine under the awning at the Train Depot. Park in the Library Parking Lot. Light snacks will be served. Train depot restrooms will be available. Lawn chairs, blankets and bug spray are recommended. Registration is required.

Pokemon Club Summer Workshop
Learn how to play the Pokemon card game this summer! The library provides pre-built decks to play with at the program but attendees may also bring their own cards and decks from home. Interested in learning how to build your own deck? We can help with that too! Open to kids in grades K-8. Kids in grades 2 & under must be accompanied by a caregiver. LEGO CLUB
Saturday, August 23rd at 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM
Lego Club for ages 6-12 years old. Sessions at 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM. Legos provided.

Soccer Shots
Friday August 22nd
session for 2 & 3yr olds runs 12:30-1:30pm
session for 4 & 5yr olds runs 1:00-2:00pm
Read and Roll! Get a kick out of reading and join us for a free fun day at the Orchard Park Public Library. Enjoy a 30 minute story time followed by a 30 minute free soccer session. The first session begins at 12:30 and is for children ages 2 & 3. The second session begins at 1pm, and is for children ages 4 & 5. For teens ages 13-17.
Join us for a night of painting a dandelion scene while sipping boba tea! We will be following a painting tutorial by the Art Sherpa.
