Spring Preschool Story Time

Adult Ukulele Club
Tuesdays from 1:30 - 3:00 PM
Join us for an open jam, including ukulele instruction for beginners. Call 716-941-3516 to register. If you don't have your own ukulele, we even have one you can borrow from the library. Bring along your favorite songs to share and learn some new ones!
First and Third Tuesday Writers Club
First and Third Tuesdays of each month from 6:00 - 7:30 PM starting February 4th
Mini Art Festival
Pick up a mini canvas from the library during the month of April and paint your masterpiece. Return it to the library by May to be entered into our mini art festival. All entries will be displayed in the library. All ages are welcome to participate!

The kickoff to our summer events and official grand opening of our new pavilion space! Join us for an evening of fun and entertainment. Our ukulele club, the BLUES (Boston Library Ukulele EntertainerS) will be kicking off the evening's music at 5:00 PM followed by a performance by Kody & Herren. Big Daddy Food Truck will be on site to provide delicious food from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM. We will have yard games and activities for the whole family!

Chi Flow with AFC716

Summer Jamboree

The Boston Free Library's Summer Jamboree is on Thursday, July 24th from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Local craft and art vendors, live music with the Boston Town Band, hot dogs for sale, crafts and activities for the kids, and a large basket raffle. Come support the Boston Free Library at the Boston Town Hall Lions Shelter.

Pond Life

Presented by the NYS Parks and Recreation Department
Learn about all the amazing life that exists in the typical Western New York Pond! Participants will get the chance to inspect pond life using nets and magnifiers to get a closer look at insects, fish and tadpoles. For ages 5 and up. Call 716-941-3516 to register to attend!

Curbside/Walk-Up Services Continue to be Available:
Call the library 716-941-3516 or email bos@buffalolib.org during open hours to request titles from items available at the Boston Free Library. Check the library's online catalog using the "Limit Search Results" selecting "Boston" to see currently available items. A staff member will record the titles requested and check them out on your library card.

Available kits include:
- Kid's Sized Tennis Kits: 2 rackets and 4 tennis balls - courts open and free to use behind the Boston Town Hall and at Sprague Brook Park
- Kid's Snowshoe Kits - perfect for a winter day at Sprague Brook or on any of the nearby trails! (Best for ages 5+).
- Two sizes available: Small and Large Youth Sizes
* A parent or guardian must sign a waiver and be present the first time equipment is borrowed. Equipment must be borrowed from and returned to the Boston Free Library.
