    Located on Route 5 (Lake Shore Road) between Cloverbank Road and Kennison Parkway. Wheelchair accessible with parking and entrances on both sides of the building.

    The Lake Shore Public Library offers wonderful views of Lake Erie from a convenient location. Pop in for a quick pick from our updated collection or stick around for a fabulous sunset. Our friendly staff is always available to answer your questions or offer a suggestion.

    7 Public Access Computers and 2 Laptops; printing, including Mobile Printing, is 10¢ per page for black and white and 25¢ for color. Includes Microsoft Office Applications and Internet Access. For more information, see "What can I do at a Public Access Computer?"

    Wi-Fi available to connect with your own laptop or wireless device.

    Self Check-Out stations featuring RFID technology.

    Drop Box depository to return library material 24/7.

    Meeting Room available upon request. Seating capacity is 46.

    Copy machine available at 25¢ per copy.

      Our Cookbook Club will be celebrating the Superbowl in February with The Hungry Fans Gameday Cookbook by Daina Falk. Those interested can choose a recipe to make at the circulation desk, and bring it in to share. Registration is required.

      Empire Passes

      New York State Empire Passes are available for seven day checkout, allowing entry of one vehicle to most facilities operated by the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation, and Historic Preservation and the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation. The Empire Pass does not guarantee parking when the park is at maximum capacity. This pass may not be used for entrance by multiple vehicles at one time. This pass does not guarantee free vehicle entry into a park when special events occur. The Empire Pass does not include a waiver of fees for camping, golfing, and other special activities. Passes must be picked up and returned in-person to the owning library.


      Health Kits for Kids

      Thanks to a grant from WNYLRC and NNLM, we have health kits for kids!  These kits contain games, active play items, coloring pages, and a book to help teach kids about the human body and how to keep it healthy--inside and out.  The kits include:

      Each kit circulates for one week with one renewal and must be returned to a staff members, NOT in the drop box.  Stop in today for your kit and for further information.

      Memory Kits

      Do you have a friend or family member with Alzheimer's/dementia?  Do you work in an assisted living facility or nursing home?  If so, the Lake Shore Library has Memory Kits!

      What are Memory Kits?  Memory Kits feature a variety of items to inspire memories, discussions, and interaction with people with memory loss issues.  Each kit comes with DVDs, CDs, games, and activities.  We also have a game backpack filled with fun activities to get people talking, laughing, and engaging their minds.  Kits can be checked out for one week with one renewal.  Please view our Circulation Guidelines for more information.
