Do you love art? Reading? Join us for Brain Sparks!
This program is for teens who are 13-17 years old (or 8th to 12th grade). Each month teens meet to discuss the selected book and do something creative. The program is available in two formats: virtual and in-person.
When you register, choose either the virtual or in-person option for that month. The content of both programs is the same. The virtual program is via Zoom and the in-person program takes place at the Central Library.

Join us Wednesday, August 17, 5:30-6:15, via Zoom, to hear graphic novel author Colleen AF Venable talk about her book Katie the Catsitter! There will be time for audience members to ask questions at the end.
If you haven't read it, there's still time to pick up at copy at the library or download it as an eBook. Already read it and loved it? Did you know there is a sequel, Katie the Catsitter. Best Friends for Never?

Codes, Ciphers, and Mysteries abound! Join Emily and her friends as they attempt to solve a mystery involving the creator of her favorite game, Book Scavenger.

Do you love art? Reading? Our program, Brain Sparks, may be for you! This program is for Erie County teens ages 13-17 (or 8th to 12th grade).
Each month features a different art medium and book. Registered teens receive a box of art supplies and a book to keep. Participants also receive a Creativebug website subscription (good for a year). These supplies are to be used at the monthly Brain Sparks program.
