The holidays are over, and the sun is out a bit longer every day. But it's January, and we Buffalonians know that there is still have a lot of winter weather ahead. So throw on a sweater, snuggle up with your little ones, and read these winter picture books together!
Early Literacy Tip: When reading to your child, don’t be afraid to go off script. Talk about the shapes and colors in the illustrations, or ask them what they think might happen next. Engaging the text in this way helps your child develop the background knowledge they will need to learn to read on their own!
