Lackawanna Friends Holiday Book Sale

Tuesday, December 9 - Saturday, December 13 (During Open Hours)

Did somebody say BOOK SALE?!!

The Lackawanna Friends Holiday Book Sale will take place in the Community Room at the Lackawanna Library.

All books, magazines, CDs, and audiobooks are 25 cents each, and all DVDs and blu-rays are $1.00 each.

We will have LOTS of new DVDs and blu-rays from a recent collection weeding.

Saturday is FILL A BAG FOR $1 DAY! Last year, we had a line out the door, so be sure to show up early! If you do not bring your own bag(s), we will provide them.


Tech Training

Graham Cracker Houses

Noon Year's Eve Party

Come ring in the new year with us at a party for all ages! We'll have a non-alcoholic countdown toast, a dance party, and MORE!

Join us to sing songs, make crafts, and have fun with us as we celebrate the topic of the week!

Tuesday Murder Club: The House of Silk by Anthony Horowitz

A monthly book club exploring the murder genre.

London, 1890. A fine art dealer visits Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson to beg for their help. In the days that follow, his home is robbed, his family is threatened - and then the first murder takes place.

Holmes and Watson find themselves in an international conspiracy and begin to hear the whispered phrase - The House of Silk - a mysterious entity that connects the highest levels of government to the depths of criminality.
