In 1990, Bistro Bookers was born. Under the guidance of the B.L.O.O.M. Group (Book Lovers Of Our Metropolis) the downtown after hours book review/discussion forum was created to encourage the discussion of current provocative nonfiction written by national and local authors interspersed with fiction from Buffalo-area authors.
