Delaware Road, will be more welcoming, replacing an outdated circulation desk, constructing a new children’s area and creating space dedicated to public computers. An inviting lounge will afford a quiet and relaxing environment. New entrance doors equipped with automatic door openers will be in compliance with the American with Disabilities Act (ADA).
A New York State Construction Grant from the 2010-2011 State budget was awarded to the Kenmore Branch Library for this remodeling. The $76,805 award will be matched with funds from the Town of Tonawanda.
During the closure, Library hours will be extended at the Town of Tonawanda Public Library – Kenilworth Branch, 318 Montrose Avenue. The hours from January 23, 2012 through February 7, 2012 will be:
Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays: 10:00a.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Tuesdays and Thursdays: 10:00a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Saturdays: 10:00a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Sundays: 12:00 noon - 5:00 p.m.
All request items will be sent to the Kenilworth Branch for pick-up unless a patron specifies otherwise. The drop box will remain open at the Kenmore Branch.
