Theme: Why Does Preservation Matter?

Robert Skerker is Co-Coordinator of the 2011 National Trust for Historic Preservation Conference taking place in Buffalo, October 19-22. Speaking on the conference’s theme of Alternating Currents, he provided an overview of planning efforts and highlighted the programs and tours intended to showcase the host city and its neighborhoods. The event is on target to attract more than 2,000 historic preservation professionals and is expected to boost the region’s cultural tourism industry.
