Public Access Computers: 25, networked (printing 10 cents per page for black and white or 25 cents per page for color) Microsoft Office Applications, Internet Access, Misc. "What can I do at a Public Access Computer?"

Meeting Room. Copy machine, copies 15 cents for 8x11 or 30 cents  for 11x14.

Lapsit Storytime
Session 1: Tuesdays, January 30th - February 20th, 10:30 - 11:15 AM
Session 2: Tuesdays, March 6th - March 27th, 10:30 - 11:15 AM
Parents and caregivers can enjoy stories, songs, rhymes, music & movement, and fingerplays with their young children. For ages 3 - 23 months.

Toddler Time
Session 1: Tuesdays, January 30th - February 20th, 11:30 am - 12:15 PM
Session 2: Tuesdays, March 6th - March 27th, 11:30 am - 12:15 PM
Our storytimes include: stories, songs, fingerplays and crafts with a focus on vocabulary, rhyming, sound letter correspondence, comprehension, and more! For ages 2 - 3.

Movin' & Groovin' with Ms. Meg!

A fun, high energy program promoting learning and physical fitness. Join us for dancing, yoga, interpretive movement and and all around good time! For ages 2 - 5.

Hatha yoga presented by Certified Instructor Peggy Basin. Use posture and stretching in combination with breathing exercises to develop flexibility and relaxation. Open for beginners and those with past yoga experience. Space is limited.

Family Literacy Workshop, Lancaster Central School District
Tuesday, January 16, 2018, 7:00 - 8:00 PM
Improving Academic Vocabulary: strategies for learning and improving content area vocabulary will be discussed to improve comprehension in Science, Social Studies and Math. Presented by Mrs. Beth Farrar, Certified Literacy Specialist and Lancaster Educator. Geared for parents of children ages PreK - Grade 4. Call 686-3390 to register. Seats are limited.

NYS Certified math teacher Catherine Thielmann is available by appointment for math help. Ms. Thielmann has over 37 years of experience teaching math. For grades 3 - 9. Call to sign up for an appointment.

Junior Friends of the Lancaster Public Library Meeting

Joining the Junior Friends will allow you to help out the community, give you service hours and make you feel great! At our meetings you will create posters, work on fundraising for the Lancaster Public Library, and plan programs for teens and children.

Family History Research with Ancestry Library Edition Database

An introduction to tracing your family’s roots with Ancestry Library Edition, a database available at the Lancaster Library.  Similar to the popular Ancestry.com web\site, this database contains collections of vital and original records, including those relating to birth, marriage, death, military service, and immigration. Requirements: mouse, typing, and Internet skills. Ages 17 and above.

Organizing your Computer Files & Folders

Do you ever lose anything you’ve saved to your computer? Can’t find that picture you wanted to attach to an email? This class shows you how to save files to the computer so you can find them again! Use these skills to arrange your digital photos into album folders or organize other files. This class in based on Windows 10. Requirements: mouse and typing skills. Ages 17 and above.
