Friends of the Library On-going Book Sale

Nearly new books donated by community members are offered for sale by the Friends of the Library on a book shelf located within the library during open library hours.

The Friends of the Library also staff a book sale room open at various times each month.

Summer Book Room Hours:

Mondays, 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Tuesdays, 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Wednesdays, 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Thursdays, 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Fridays, 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.


Library Events


Book a Technology Trainer:

Thursday, July 27 or August 3 - 10:00 am - 1:00 pm.

These are free 45 minute sessions designed to assist  with software support or Internet training.  Registration is required.  Call or visit the library to sign up.





Lego Club meets Fridays, 10:30 - 11:30 from July 14 - August 11 in the summer and is open to children ages 6 -12 years old. No registration is necessary - just stop in and build with us! 



Registration is required for these programs.  Please call or visit the library to register.

Preschool Story Hour  Summer Session - July 10 - August 8 for children ages 3-5 years old on either Monday or Tuesday from 10:30 am - 11:30 am.  Children must be 3 years old by July 10.  

Toddler Time Lapsit Summer Session - Wednesdays, July 12 - August 9 from 10:30  - 11:00 am.  It is for children ages 18 months to 3 years old with an adult caregiver.  Children must be 18 months old by July 12.  





Rookie Readers - crafts, games & books for kids entering grades 1 & 2 in the Fall.  This group meets Tuesdays, July 11 - August 8 from 2:00 - 3:15 pm.

Page Turners - crafts, games & books for kids entering grades 3 - 6 in the Fall.  This group meets Thursdays, July 13 - August 10 from 2:00 - 3:15 pm.

Regular summer programs will begin the week of July 10 and continue through August 10.  Feel free to call us (773-7124) for information on programs for specific ages or to register for any of our programs.  Summer reading flyer.

Books to Bikes Contest

For every 5 books checked out, each child will receive a ticket to enter  our contest to win a new bike donated by the Friends of the Library.  This contest begins on July 3.  The drawing for the bikes will take place on August 10 at our summer celebration.



Meets monthly on various Monday evenings, 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.  

All are welcome; refreshments are served.  No registration is necessary.

Join our group for help with a project, knitting company, or to knit for charity.  The club is free and open to the public.  It meets from 1:30 - 4:00 pm, on  the second and fourth Monday of the month (unless otherwise noted).  Upcoming dates:
